GPS System Enable 1st Time is the Last Time Earthwork!

Earthwork is a game of parts and inches making accuracy exceptionally important. The challenge of moving earth to tolerances of millimeters is dauting to say the least. For years mankind has managed to do just that with rudimentary tools like string, chain, and sticks. These systems work well, but are time consuming and prone to error. Therefore, when the surveyor used to show up to sign off on a job, his signature wasn't exactly guaranteed.

GPS systems now have eliminated all the old tools from the construction site. Because a GPS machine control system knows the whole plan, it can aid a single driver in cutting and filling parts of the whole project at once. For instance cutting a complex, curved, terrace for a subdivision, with a scraper is not out of the question. In addition, on his trip around the site in a circle, the operator, with the aid of his GPS system, can fill in the curb areas, or home pads adjacent to the road cut to within an inch accurately all day long. No bubble required in his backside.

The end resultant is dirt moved accurately to it's final position the first time by both roughing and precision equipment. Now you can have your bulldozers and scrapers roughing in portions of the site, and graders and excavators to finalize the terrain per the plans. Never again send finishing tools to do rough jobs and at every chance have the roughing machines finish to within grade tolerance.
