What is the difference between an Indicate and an Automate GPS machine Control System?

Basic answer
The hydraulics are controlled by an AUTOMATED GPS system. As long as you are not bogging down the machine and do not need to over ride the system to move (slicing towards grade), the machine decides where grade is and maintains the bucket/blade position as the operator concentrates on driving.



An INDICATE GPS system just SHOWS the operator what to do. The operator is responsible for moving the hydraulic actuators to maintain grade.
